December 19: Circle, circle, dot, dot.
We took the kiddos to the Vienna Natural History Museum today, and they loved it. It’s the first time they’ve really had fun at a museum, instead of stomping around and reminding us that it’s still boring and they still have to go to the bathroom. But today, they gawked at the dinosaurs, looked through the microscopes, petted the camels and mastodons and elephants, and never tired of hearing their voices echo through the marble halls. It felt like a major turning point, where vacations are becoming a we experience instead of an us-vs.-them experience. It was magical, just like the life-size allosaurus.
