November 14: The hole story.
The kiddos and I spent a few hours on Sunday making ornaments for our Romanian Christmas tree. There were glitter pens. There were sparkles. There were pipe cleaners. And there were messy hands and tons of fun. When I added “single-hole punch” to the grocery list so that we could neatly affix our ornaments to the tree, I briefly wondered what my husband would come home with, if anything. There is no Staples, no Office Max, no Office Depot, no nothing here. Would the Wal-Mart-like grocery store carry such a thing? Turns out, they do. But not a single-hole punch. Not a three-hole punch. A two-hole punch. For all your practical two-hole-punch needs.
