November 13: Yule never guess …
I lied. Inadvertently. But I lied nonetheless. Turns out, Romanian stores are peddling holiday wares already. (I momentarily forgot that I haven’t been to the grocery store in three months.) My daughter got so excited that he put the tree together that very night, and we spent most of the weekend gluing, glittering, and markering some homemade ornaments. ’Tis the season … I guess??
