September 4: My crutches.
I still very much need my crutches to get anywhere, so they are never very far from me. It seemed like a good idea to take a picture of them, at least for posterity’s sake. It’s funny, the only kind of crutch they make in Europe is the arm-brace kind, not the under-the-arm kind that is more popular in the United States. I’m slowly but surely figuring them out. And the kiddos love to hop around with them, pretending they have a hurt knee or ankle or elbow. Pretty soon, they’ll be more adept than me!

  1. Hi Stacia, thank you for stopping at my blog’s texture thursday post. I believe that plant is agave (the one you liked) sorry to hear about your injury. I dont know how it goes in Romania, but in Slovakia we do use the crunches that support you from under arms so it is easier to walk when injured. Especially when you can use only one leg. The other ones we use when u need some support for walking only. Hope you feel better soon!

  2. That’s odd. Under-the-arm crunches are pretty standard in Europe. You should ask around, I am sure they have to have them.
