June 24: My “yellow bang.” This sign, posted on the front and rear windows of your car, means you’re a new driver in Romania. And people actually give you a little leeway and extra courtesy when they see it!

  4. I have just gotten back from a 2 week vacation there with my Romanian wife. She pointed this out to me on a number of occasions. Its something that, as an American, you need to “learn” to see.

    I was proud to say that i fit right in with the “crazy” driving 🙂
